FOCUS 21st Century Community Learning Centers operates at Sussex Avenue School, Cleveland Elementary School and Lincoln Elementary School in Newark servicing 180 students overall. The purpose of the Centers is to educate children who attend these schools so that they may attain the skills necessary to meet the New Jersey’s Core Curriculum Content Standards.

FOCUS Family Success Center

The Family Success Center provides a comprehensive family support system for families residing in Newark with emphasis on the Central Ward. The FFSC aims to prevent child maltreatment by strengthening individual and family functioning; enhancing parental capacity for growth and development; increasing the stability, health and well-being of children and families; and empowering community residents to acquire the knowledge, skills and resources they need to succeed and provide optimal outcomes for children and families.
